Erickstad to Oversee the Health Plan’s Customer Experience Team, Which Delivers Personal Assistance to Members, Agents and Providers
(FORT WORTH, Texas – March 23, 2021) — Care N’ Care Health Plan (HMO/PPO) announced today the appointment of Kirk Erickstad as the health plan’s new customer experience manager. In this role Erickstad will oversee Care N’ Care’s Customer Experience Team, which provides fast, efficient and personal assistance to all health plan members, licensed Medicare agents and health plan providers.

Erickstad brings to his new role more than a decade of customer service and call center experience and has held leadership positions with two global health care companies, United Healthcare Medicare Solutions and McKesson Specialty Pharmacy. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Letourneau University in Longview, Texas. Since May 2020, Erickstad has worked as a Customer Experience Team supervisor, providing efficient member services including claims, telesales and customer service.
Launched in September of last year, the Customer Experience Team at Care N’ Care assists members with questions they might have regarding the health plan’s benefits and services and is available to all of its HMO and PPO members, regardless of which plan or provider they have chosen. The team helps new members select a doctor who is right for them and can assist all members with scheduling appointments, understanding claims or billing, answering questions regarding prescriptions, and more.
In addition, the Customer Experience Team makes it easier for providers to receive information from Care N’ Care regarding status on claims or member eligibility before a procedure or office visit is scheduled. And for licensed Medicare insurance agents, the team delivers additional backroom support and provides the agents assistance with their Care N’ Care members’ questions, particularly during the busy annual enrollment period.
