Medicare Advantage Plan Offers an HMO and Four PPOs, Some of Which Include $0 Plan Premiums and Extensive Additional Benefits Beyond Traditional Medicare
(FORT WORTH, Texas – November 7, 2017) — Care N’ Care Health Plan announced today its 2018 benefit plans, which include a cost-saving prescription benefit, nationwide coverage – including pharmacy – for seniors when they travel, and plan premiums starting as low as $0. Included as well is Care N’ Care’s renowned personal healthcare concierge program, the only service of its kind in the area.
Care N’ Care offers a choice of four PPO plans for Medicare beneficiaries in Tarrant, Johnson, Dallas, Collin, Denton, Rockwall and parts of Parker counties. It also offers an HMO plan in Collin, Denton and Tarrant counties. These plans offer all of the coverage of traditional Medicare plus additional services and benefits that improve and simplify Medicare coverage. Care N’ Care Classic HMO, Choice PPO and Choice MA-only PPO offer a $0 plan premium.
Included in Care N’ Care’s 2018 benefits package is the ability for members to get a three-month supply of most medications for the price of two at participating retail pharmacies or by utilizing Care N’ Care’s convenient mail order pharmacy. “Our goal is to minimize cost as a barrier toward members getting the maintenance medications they need,” said Shane Greene, Pharm D., director of clinical pharmacy services at Care N’ Care. “That is why we are so happy to once again in 2018 offer this incredible cost-savings benefit, which members have responded to very positively over the past year.”
Seniors who choose Care N’ Care can also avail themselves of the health plan’s nationally acclaimed healthcare concierge program. All members of Care N’ Care are assigned a personal Healthcare Concierge to serve as the single point of contact and help facilitate their healthcare needs, such as scheduling appointments, help with claims or billing, answering questions regarding prescriptions, and more.
While specific benefits vary from plan to plan, all of Care N’ Care’s benefit packages also include low out-of-pocket maximum costs as well as dental, vision and hearing coverage. Care N’ Care works closely with local seniors to make sure they understand all of their Medicare options and that they choose the health plan that best fits their health and lifestyle needs.
“It is important that our members have peace of mind and the support they need to remain healthy and independent,” said Chief Executive Officer Wendy Karsten. “That is why our benefit packages not only include access to great hospitals and physicians here locally but also nationwide coverage when they travel. We also offer a fitness program that will help empower our members to live life to its fullest.”
